Our Halls

Situated in the heart of Silver End Village, this facility is our largest community hall (and it is actually one of the largest village halls in England!) The hall has two areas available to hire. Our Main Hall which has a capacity for 300 people and is ideal for many uses; large parties, family events (wedding receptions, birth celebration ceremonies and wakes), regular clubs, large commercial events (exhibitions, dances, second hand sales) and sporting activities. Additionally, there is a large stage which makes it perfect for stage productions and dance shows. In addition, what sets this hall out from others is the large floor space and high ceilings allowing for large indoor inflatables or even indoor go carting! Connected to the Main Hall is a large kitchen with spacious worktops, ideal for food preparation or separate area to offer food and drink. Our second area available to hire is the Small Hall, this has a capacity for 50 people and is perfect for small childrens parties, small gatherings, meetings and clubs. * Please contact us directly on 01376 311376 if you are a local resident and would like to book the hall, because we know how important the hall is to the village, a discretionary rate is applicable for all local residents. Dengie Community Hall has been a part of Witham Town for over 30 years.

A bright, spacious hall with a capacity for up to 75 people. Kitchen facilities with a large open counter reaching straight into the main hall ensuring easy access to food and drink. The rear of the hall opens directly into an enclosed garden area, ideal for inflatables or extra space if the weather is being kind! As part of your hire you will also have access to a separate meeting room. The hall also has its own private car park ensuring no parking worries for your guests. This hall is ideal for local clubs, family gatherings and children's parties.
